sarah kerrigan, queen of blades

• Sarah, a humanoid Terran from the Koprulu sector had never had a chance for a normal childhood. By the time she was seven, she’d already exhibited strong psychic skills and was immediately picked up by the Confederacy of Man's ghost agent program. Though both the Confederate faction and training program were brutal, they were also the most powerful faction and forcefully conscripted children to severe military training at a young age. Her telekinesis became another weapon in her extensive repertoire after rigorous training, though neural implant controlled the mental ability. By the time she was twenty, she was a highly trained espionage agent and assassin. Her power was near limitless and she would have been one of the best agents the ghost program had.

• That is, until she and her unit were charged with starting a revolution on a fringe planet. The mission is attacked by an insectoid species called the Zerg, and after being betrayed and left for dead, Sarah is taken by them. Drawn by her power, the Zerg infest her mind and body, and make her a powerful hybrid of both Zerg and Terran DNA. She became the greatest agent of the Zerg Overmind, becoming Commander of the Zerg Swarm. She was given the honorary title of "Queen of Blades" because, like a blade, she was used to rip her enemies to shreds.

• With her infestation came a new look, as well. Where once she had red hair, jade green eyes and striking features, her eyes became yellow, her hair comparable to that of Medusa's and blade-like wings from her back that reach the level of her knees. In battle she used them to literally rip her enemies to shreds. But it wasn't just her looks that changed. Her change unlocked all her psychic powers as well as incredible insect-like strength. Stripped of human ethics and morality, she was ruthlessly dedicated to the Swarm's survival.

• Despite being outnumbered, Sarah's Zerg forces defeat a huge fleet hoping to enslave the Zerg. About the time the aftermath was cleaned up, the world began corrupting. The virus had infected everything, and when Sarah felt her connection to the Zerg Overload deteriorating, she escaped, jumping out into the real world.

• Her first steps on Earth were not good. Her infestation was gone, along with her change in looks. Without the Zerg in her, she was back to the red-haired, green-eyed female she once was. She still, however, was wearing the metal, spiked body suit. When she'd first started as a ghost agent, she'd had a form-fitting hostile environment suit with a personal cloaking device. The infestation changed that. The most resounding change was in her powers. She no longer had any psychic skills, and though her training was not gone, her strength was.

• She took the change remarkably well, or as well as can be expected for someone in her position. This is, in part, due to the fact that her whole like had been full of jarring changes and this was just another in a long list, and partially due to the fact that she wouldn't have known how to react normally anyway. She'd gone from half insect super soldier to a thin, striking and powerless woman in a matter of seconds.

• Considering her life, it was obvious that Sarah had never had a chance to be normal, much less been expected to be. On Earth, it was imperative that she fit in. However, she lacked many people skills, had largely forgotten how to speak and barely knew how to function. The first few months were very rough. But she adapted - she had to. She took on the name Sable Carrington and became a 24 year old bounty hunter. Fighting was the only thing she knew how to do, it was the only thing she was trained to do. Game Town isn't exactly where she wants to be, but then again, she doesn't exactly miss the life she had, either.
